GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson is hoping striker Delroy Facey can rekindle the kind of form that took him to the Premiership.

Facey was gracing the country's top flight just four years ago and Jepson knows the 27-year-old has plenty to offer.

Jepson said: "I feel he lost his way a bit and hopefully he can get back to his best and he'll be looking to have a good season.

"On his day he can be as good as anyone at this level. He'll be a good asset to us and he's a good player."

Facey was playing Premiership football with Bolton Wanderers between 2002 and 2004, netting goals against Everton and Birmingham but he has since failed to find the same kind of form.
