Lillywhites will improve, says player-coach

LOOKING FOR IMPROVEMENT: Player-coach Simon Osborn

Cambridge City v Bromley

SIMON OSBORN has asked to be judged over the next four games for Bromley.

The injury-hit Lillywhites have suffered three defeats in a row since the resignation of boss Mark Goldberg two weeks ago.

But player-coach Osborn, in temporary charge with Bobby Bowry and Derek Parnham, says fixtures against Cambridge City, Thurrock (home and away), and Fisher offer an opportunity to arrest the slide.

He said: "I always knew those first three games would be tough, not just with the quality of teams but also due to the injury situation. But we are starting to get a few players back now, and with no midweek games this week we’ve had a good opportunity to work on a few things.

"All I’m looking for is an improvement in the performances, and I think we’ve had that. I would like to be judged on the next four games."

Osborn, Steve Clark, Simon Glover and Francis Duku could be back for Saturday’s clash at Cambridge.
