Gillingham's Amine Linganzi could miss the trip to Swindon Town with injury picked up playing for Congo

Gills midfielder Amine Linganzi is unlikely to feature for a second weekend.

The 23-year-old suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty last Wednesday.

Congo lost their friendly against Tunisia 3-0 and Linganzi was unable to play in Saturday’s game against Brentford.

“It is a hamstring injury, which is normally longer than 10 days, so I doubt he will be fit,” said Gills boss Martin Allen.

But apart from Linganzi, the Gills should have a fully fit senior squad.

Two of Gillingham’s development squad are in recovery, meanwhile, following nose operations.

Joe Carter and Josh Hare underwent surgery after both suffered broken noses.
