Linton still on course for Lord’s

LINTON PARK (Maidstone) will be bidding to reach the last 16 of the npower national village knockout cricket competition when they travel to face Essex champions Horndon-on-the-Hill on Sunday.

Linton have met Horndon once before in the competition - in 1990 when they won at Linton.

All rounder Rob Doick, who missed the win over Shipbourne in the Kent area final, is available for Linton who will select from a full-strength squad.

Linton Park are twice winners of the competition, the final of which is at Lord’s.

Horndon is near Orsett just through the Dartford tunnel. The match starts at 2pm.
