INVICTA DYNAMOS head coach Kevin Parrish has guided the club to a number of league and cup titles over the last three years.

Parrish took over the position in the 2003/2004 season having previously been bench coach for the senior team.

In his first season he guided the ice hockey club to the English National League Southern title. The club – based at Gillingham Ice Bowl – also took the English National League Southern and Southern play-off titles.

Last season the Dynamos won the National League title, the National Cup and the National play-off title, the first time that any club in the league has won all available titles.

Parrish’s achievements have been recognised by the sport’s governing body and he has been asked to coach the South Eastern under-13s side.

The ice hockey enthusiast still plays for the team and has recently taken over as head of junior development at Invicta.

He said: "It definitely has its up and down days but 98 per cent of the time I have loved it. As a club I think we are really going forward.

"I get a buzz out of seeing something we have worked on during the week come off in a match."

Parrish has been nominated for the coach of the year award.
