New clubs join village league

SIX new teams have been voted into the Kent County Village League, following the competition’s annual meeting.

Weald, Knockholt, Sennocke, Chevening Amblers, Cudham Wyse and Godstone, all of whom played in the Bat & Ball League last season have joined the KCVL and as a result the league has been restructured into five divisions of 49 teams.

2008 Constitution: Division 1: Bidborough, Outwood, Leigh, Penshurst Park, Sissinghurst, Four Elms, Horsmonden, Southborough, Plaxtol, Chiddingstone.

Division 2: Hadlow, Otford, St Lawrence, Fordcombe, Withyham, Groombridge, Crockham Hill, Limpsfield Chart, Ightham, Flimwell.

Division 3: Shoreham, Speldhurst, Sissinghurst 2nd, Halstead, Kemsing, Bidborough 2nd, Kilnsdown & Lamberhurst, Weald, Knockholt, Chevening.

Division 4: Otford 2nd, Horsmonden 2nd, Plaxtol 2nd, Groombridge 2nd, Hadlow 2nd, Outwood 2nd, Cudham Wyse, Godstone, Sennocke.

Division 5: Flimwell 2nd, Four Elms 2nd, Limpsfield Chart 2nd, Southborough 2nd, Withyham 2nd, Leigh 2nd, St Lawrence 2nd, Shoreham 2nd, Halstead 2nd.
