GILLINGHAM'S player manager Andy Hessenthaler is facing fresh injury problems ahead of Saturday's match against Ipswich at Priestfield.

There are doubts surrounding the fitness of Simon Osborn (knee) and top scorer Paul Shaw (ankle).

Hessenthaler rates his own chances, and those of striker Rod Wallace, as no better than 50-50. Hessenthaler pulled a hamstring in training on Friday while Wallace has injured a shin.

Chris Hope, a tower of strength at the back against Sheffield United, has been suffering from flu but should be fit in time for Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hessenthaler has dismissed the chances of bringing Wolves centre-back Cedric Pollett to the club on loan from Wolves.
