Omoyinmi is Gate's hero

Scarborough 0 Margate 1

MARGATE put their off-the-pitch problems behind them to hand Scarborough their first defeat in eight matches on Saturday.

The decisive goal came 18 minutes into the second half when striker and man of the match Manny Omoyinmi fired home from 10 yards.

Only the heroics of home keeper Leigh Walker prevented Omoyinmi adding to his tally. The closest Scarborough came to an equaliser was when substitute Leon McSweeney's shot was saved by Phil Smith near the end.
