Adrian Pennock plans to extend his touchline ban

Welling United v Yeading

WELLING are aiming to continue their fine start to the season at Yeading on Saturday.

Manager Adrian Pennock has decided to extend his touchline ban after watching his side pick up seven points from their opening three Nationwide Conference South matches.

He was handed a three-game suspension following an outburst at the referee after the defeat at Dorchester back in April.

But Pennock said: "I’ve learnt that I can see more from up there and it has helped me.

"I can still shout from there and be vocal, I’ll start watching the Yeading game from there and if needed I can go down to the dug-out."

Wings have doubts over the fitness of Lee Gledhill (leg), Jamie Day (toe) and Steve Perkins (shin), but Lee Shearer should receive international clearance ahead of the game.
