Ryman League Division 1 round-up

Folkestone made it four wins from their last five with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Dulwich Hamlet in Division 1 South on Saturday.

Jimmy Dryden's 35th-minute free-kick from the right side of the box gave Invicta the lead and the points were wrapped up 12 minutes from time when Jimmy Jackson's pass found Andy Pugh, who beat the keeper with aplomb.

Sittingbourne were the only other Kent side in the division to come away with a victory - and for the second game in a row Richard Brady won it for them in injury-time.

Their opponents, Godalming Town, took the lead after just six minutes through Damien Matthews, but Dave Milton levelled for the visitors 10 minutes before half-time finishing off a move he himself had started and a Brady tap-in put the Brickies ahead for the first time just before the break.

Kenny Ojukwa's cracking header on 59 minutes looked to have earned a share of the spoils but Brady's free-kick deep into added time stole the points.

Cray Wanderers took a point from their trip to Walton Casuals thanks to Danny Chapman's scrambled effort nine minutes from time.

The visitors had fallen behind in the 75th minute to Craig Lewington's disputed penalty. Cray boss Ian Jenkins was sent from the dugout for his protests.

Goals from Daniel Braithwaite and Mitchell Sherwood saw Ashford take a 2-0 lead at Corinthian-Casuals but the home side staged an excellent second half fightback to win 3-2.

Whitstable also suffered disappointment as they were beaten 2-0 by Fleet Town at the Belmont.

Meanwhile, in Division 1 North, Thamesmead are still searching for their first win after a 3-2 home defeat to Witham Town, who were previously without a point.

The home side were 3-0 down after 50 minutes but fought back with goals from Rikki Cable (60) and Harvingi Grant (75).

Town had enough chances to equalise and even win the game but they couldn't find a way past the Witham keeper.

Dave Botterill's strike wasn't enough for Chatham who conceded a late goal to lose 2-1 at Northwood.
