Delroy Facey is in talks with a second League 2 club today (Tuesday) as he attempts to earn a move away from Gillingham.

The experienced striker has already been in talks with one League 2 club at the end of last week.

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson is keen to off-load the 28-year-old and it’s clear Facey has no future at Priestfield. He wasn’t issued a squad number last week and has not been in training while he sorts out a new club for himself.

“It’s best for him if he focuses his mind on that,” said Stimson.

“We’re waiting to see what happens from those meetings.”
