Sheppey beaten on home soil

Sheppey 5 Dartfordians 10

Sheppey remain in trouble at the bottom of Kent 1 following another defeat on Saturday.

A 10-5 defeat at The Ditch against Dartfordians keeps them second from bottom in the league.

Jason Crosskey scored an unconverted try in the second-hald but Sheppey were unable to build on that.

Head coach Frank Davis said: ““We should have won. We’re just not playing with confidence and we’re chasing the games. They aren’t confident in their own ability.

“It’s frustrating but the scorelines are coming down and we’re going in the right direction.”
