EFE SODJE is available again after recovering from his horrific injury which he suffered at Yeovil.

The defender has missed two months of football after badly damaging an eye socket in the game at Huish Park in November.

Sodje spent several weeks away recovering from the injury but his only problem now is regaining his fitness. On his return he is expected to wear a protective face mask.

Manager Mark Stimson said: “He’s back training and he needs to play games and he’s ready and available.”

Stimson’s main defensive concern is Simon King, who missed Tuesday’s 0-0 draw against Oldham game with a hamstring injury.

“We might leave him out for Walsall so he is ready for Tranmere,” said Stimson. “Hopefully he'll then have an injury-free rest of season.”

Striker Dennis Oli has yet to return to full training after illness and injury has kept him out since the start of the year.

“He’s borderline to getting involved again,” said Stimson.
