SOUTHALL: "It would be nice to finish at Gillingham"

NICKY SOUTHALL has expressed his desire to see out the rest of his playing career at Gillingham.

The 35-year-old joined the Gills for a third stint last season and is fast approaching 300 appearances for the club.

He said: "I could possibly see out my playing career here. It would be nice to finish at Gillingham.

"I was happy and delighted to be back. It's one of those clubs that's infectious and it draws you back time and again."

Southall rejoined the Gills on the verge of the January transfer deadline.
