GILLINGHAM boss Mark Stimson is ready to wield the axe for the Huddersfield game next Saturday in an attempt to end the club's current seven-game winless streak.

He said: "I told the players I played a 15-year-old who went on to Arsenal, and I'm not frightened to play someone if I think they can do a job for me.

"There are a couple of youth team boys including Charlie Howard who are not far off and it might just take someone like him or Stuart Lewis, who are not quite used to it, to go in and take it by the horns."
