Gillingham v Morecambe

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson says his players must learn to deal with the pressure from supporters ahead of their League 2 clash against Morecambe at Priestfield on Saturday.

The Gills boss admitted fans were growing restless after the club’s third successive away defeat at Exeter last Saturday.

"It’s all about (the) players’ character," said Stimson. "It’s down to what you want out of life and how you react to negative vibes.

"I’m a fighter. It won’t put me down – it makes me want to work harder. I’m someone who has got my own pressures and beliefs. Five thousand or 50,000 people won’t change that."

Striker Mark McCammon served the last of a three-match suspension on Tuesday and Stimson will be welcoming the big forward back into the fold.

"Mark has done some decent work since he’s been out suspended and hopefully we’ll see the best of him now," said Stimson.

Morecambe have failed to win on the road all season but Stimson has warned his side to be aware of their threat from set-pieces.

Gary Mulligan (knee) will be assessed on Friday while Adam Miller (back) returned to training on Thursday. Dennis Oli (foot) is unlikely to be fit.
