Video: Previewing Kent's cricket season

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

The sun is starting to shine and the smell of mown grass is in the air which means only one thing - the start of the cricket season.

Kent begin their county championship season on April 21 against Northamptonshire at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury.

After last season's relegation they will be playing in the second division of that competition for the first time and the players and coaches are desperate to get them back to the top tier.

Many of the same faces will be involved in the first match. Captain Rob Key still leads the side and only Yasser Arafat has left in the close season.

KentOnline previews the season in the video above.
