United Arab Emirates v Gillingham

GILLINGHAM continue their pre-season preparations when they take on the United Arab Emirates in France this evening.

Ronnie Jepson's side head to Le Touquet strengthened by the return of their Trinidad and Tobago World Cup stars.

Goalkeeper Kelvin Jack is likely to be handed his debut, while Brent Sancho and Ian Cox should also feature.

Hoping to impress will be centre-back Marcus Okuonghae and keeper Brian Murphy who were both involved in the win over Folkestone Invicta in the Gills' opening pre-season friendly.

Jepson said: "No disrespect to Folkestone, but the standards will be higher. We'll have a little more work under our belts and it will certainly stretch the boys."

The match kicks-off at 6pm local time.

Meanwhile, Craig Dobson, the former Crystal Palace winger who had a 30-minute run out against Folkestone, has joined Conference side Stevenage Borough for an undisclosed fee from Cambridge City.
