FORMER Kent legend Derek ‘Deadly’ Underwood will be donning the whites again next Wednesday, July 20, for an Ashes clash with a difference in aid of charity.

Underwood will lead a side including several former Kent players against tourists from The Primary Club of Australia to boost Primary Club coffers in a game hosted by Beckenham Cricket Club.

Further details of the game are available at www.primaryclub.org Supporters may have assumed that the aforementioned D Underwood had been warming up for his Primary game by turning out for Mote 3rd in their game against Blue Bell Hill on Saturday.

Although Underwood claimed five wickets the player in question was non other than the Maidstone club’s David Underwood.
