If the thought of trampolining and exercise makes you hungry then Maidstone is soon to get its first late-night ice cream parlour.
It will be called Scoopid and is expected to be opened in August. The two-storey parlour will be in Earl Street near Zizzi’s restaurant in the premises now occupied by Bison Print.
Scoopid’s owners Hassam Khan and Asam Hussain said the name was a combination of a scoop (of ice-cream) and Cupid, the god of love, because “most people love ice-cream.”
Gelato ice cream, plus waffles, crepes and milkshakes are on the menu.
Bison Print is leasing the building to Mr Khan as it moves to a larger base on the Tovil Business Park, off Burial Ground Lane.
