Bell ringers launch appeal

Hollingbourne
Hollingbourne

Bell ringers in Hollingbourne are hoping to raise £38,000 to make their set complete.
The group from All Saints Church only have six bells, whereas as a traditional tower has a minimum of eight.
The existing historic instruments were cast by London’s Whitechapel Bell Foundry, and the villagers want the new pair to be made by the same company.
The ringers hope to raise the funds over the next three years by hosting a series of community events.
