In the Malling edition of last week’s Kent Messenger, we reported how two new pedestrian crossings are to be installed on Station Road, Aylesford.

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Cllrs and Aylesford ward members Dave Smith (Con) and John Balcombe (Con) would like to clarify that the new crossing at Ferryfield play area has been won as a result of a two year campaign, while the crossing near Bailey Bridge Road was promised more than five years ago by the developers of Medway Court.

Our map of the area has now been updated to show the correct position of the Bailey Bridge Road crossing.
