Public invited to voice views on housing scheme proposed for Barming development site

There is a chance for the public to view Taylor Wimpey’s plans to build 35 homes on land at Bell Farm in North Street, Barming.

The company is holding an exhibition in Fant Community Hall, Fant Lane, on Friday, October 24, between 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

The company said it would give residents, businesses and community groups the chance to convey their views about the scheme to the company before its submits a detailed planning application.

Daniel Humphrey, for Taylor Wimpey, said: “We want to give local people the chance to influence our scheme before our planning application is finalised.”

The company is proposing a selection of two, three and four bedroom houses on the one hectare site, with two access points from North Street.
