Motorists experienced another frustrating commute into Maidstone this morning with long delays on several key roads.

There was heavy traffic on the A229 College Road and Fairmeadow just before the one-way bridge system.

Drivers are also ensnared on the A26 Tonbridge Road in Barming between the Fountain and Cherry Tree traffic lights.

Earlier there were heavy delays on the A229 Loose Road caused by roadworks by Southern Water. Temporary traffic lights are in force.
