Tonbridge made a momentous start to life in the Blue Square South with a thumping 4-0 win at Maidenhead.

Two goals in either half from Tommy Warrilow's men meant the Angels were in dreamland.

They took the lead after 21 minutes through Chris Henry when he toe-poked home from close range.

Things got even better just before the break when Jake Beecroft pounced first on a Jon Main attempted lob. Main's effort was only parried by Maidenhead keeper Nick Bussey and Beecroft showed great anticipation to finish the move off.

Main, returning to the club after his spell with AFC Wimbledon, put himself on the scoresheet on 70 minutes, effectively sealing a memorable three points in the process.

Ade Olarunda rounded off the perfect performance with arguably the best goal of the afternoon when he curled in a superb solo effort on 78 minutes.
