Bret Morris, of Fairmeadow, Maidstone, charged with kebab shop burglary

A man in his 40s has been arrested after cash and knives were stolen from a kebab shop.

Police were called on Sunday, November 18, following a break-in at the takeaway in Gabriel's Hill.

Officers investigating the burglary have now charged a man.

Bret Morris, aged 44 and of Fairmeadow, Maidstone, was arrested on Monday and has been charged with burglary and with handling stolen goods.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
