Motorcyclist injured in crash with van

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after a collision in Forstal Road, Sandling, near Maidstone.

A van and motorbike were in collision outside Travis Perkins at about 2.30pm on Monday.

The motorcyclist, in his 40s, was taken to Maidstone Hospital. The driver of the van is not thought to have been injured.

No details have yet been released about the extent of motorcyclist's injuries.

Police were called to the scene and closed the road at the junction with the Running Horse roundabout, causing delays for drivers until about 6pm.
