Plant a lasting legacy to celebrate 150 years of the Kent Messenger

IT’S the Kent Messenger’s 150th anniversary and we want you to be a part of it.

We want to leave a lasting legacy, and what better way than to plant some trees?

The KM is planting 150 trees around the district as part of its anniversary celebrations.

We have teamed up with Hadlow College to give away 150 trees to our readers – one for every year we’ve been publishing.

The idea is that by the end of our anniversary year, there will be a swathe of trees across our circulation area, which will continue to grow and be a part of the community, in the same way the Kent Messenger has always been a part of yours.

Whether it’s for your school, village or community group, we want to hear from you.

All you have to do is tell us, in no more than 150 words, why you want one of our trees and where you would like to plant it. Also send us a photograph of the spot where you would like the tree to go.

We’re planning to plant some before the end of March, and then more from October.

To be in with a chance of getting a tree planted before the end of March, you need to get your application to us by Monday, February 23.

If you’re lucky enough to be a winner, we’ll feature your tree being planted in the Kent Messenger.

Send your details to: KM150 Trees, 6&7 Middle Row, Maidstone, ME14 1TG or email messengernews@thekmgroup.co.uk.
