Police called to Wallis Avenue, Park Wood, Maidstone, after sudden death

Police and forensics officers were called to a block of flats after the sudden death of a woman.

Teams went to Wallis Avenue, Park Wood, Maidstone, at 11.27am.

Paramedics were also at the scene, but the woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead.

A police spokesman said: "Secamb were also called and, upon arrival, it was established that a woman had died suddenly.

"Officers are currently conducting enquiries at the scene, as is standard procedure.

"Next of kin are aware and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
