South African coach Alec Theunissen has been putting Cranbrook rugby players through their paces ahead of the new season.

Theunissen (pictured), who has worked with some top teams in his native country, joins Mike Catt on the back-room staff at the Kent 1 club. Catt has been at the club for several years as director of rugby.

The club train on Tuesday and Thursday nights and they will be hoping Theunissen’s input can help them improve on last season’s mid-table finish.
