Tovil murder investigation: Charlie White charged over Razvan Sirbu's death

A third man has been charged with the murder of Razvan Sirbu.

Homeless Charlie White, 18, was arrested shortly after midnight on Tuesday in Palace Avenue, Maidstone.

He appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday via video link.

White, previously of Quarry Road, Maidstone, along with Alex Macdonald, aged 18 of Regency Place, Maidstone and Jimmy Buckley, also known as Penfold, aged 19 of Capell Close, Coxheath are now all charged with the murder of Mr Sirbu.

The 21-year-old, of no fixed address, was found dead at 7.15am on Sunday, May 7 in the Loose Valley Conservation Area. Results from a post mortem examination revealed he had died from blunt force trauma to the head and body.

All three have now appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and been remanded in custody.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, who were also arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further enquiries until June 8.
