Striker Rob Denness put them ahead on 13 minutes and Josh Jackson nipped in to add a second four minutes later.

Snodland hit the bar early in the second half before Denness slid home a third and Byron Walker rounded off the tally with six minutes left.

A crowd of 575, boosted by the club’s offer of free entry, then saw the team presented with their winners’ medals and trophy by league chair Denise Richmond.

The jostling for play-off positions continued below Snodland with Tooting Bec winning 3-0 at Larkfield - who dropped from second to fourth - to move above them in the table.

All the goals came in the second half through Nathaniel Olawole, Steve Karkari and Alvin Turyatemba.

Lydd are up to second after a 7-1 win over lowly SC Thamesmead, scoring three spot-kicks in their success.

Luke Burdon scored a 30-minute hat-trick in the first half, including a penalty, with Timmy Babington and Troy Howard also netting to put their team 5-0 up at the break.

Penalties from Richard Atkins and Tyler Sterling added to their tally in the second half with Charlie Armstrong bagging a late consolation.

Rochester occupy the last play-off spot with two games to play following a 3-2 success at Bridon Ropes. Levi Gold, Liam Wilkins and Luis Dos Santos scored their goals.

Faversham Strike Force are a point adrift in sixth spot following a 2-0 win at Lewisham.

In the Premier Division, Erith & Belvedere extended their lead at the top to six points with four games to play. The Deres won 3-0 at home to Bearsted thanks to Lewis Chambers, Jahmal Howlett-Mundle and Danny Lear.

Second-placed Phoenix Sports needed a late equaliser from Ryan Sawyer to rescue a point at Stansfeld, who took the lead on 73 minutes through Joe Matthews.

Deal moved above Erith Town into third spot after goals at the end of either half from Aaron Millbank and Tom Chapman secured a 2-0 away win against the Dockers.

Both teams saw penalties saved in the contest while Erith played most of the second half with 10 men after James Trueman picked up two yellow cards.

The fate of the bottom two is almost confirmed. Both K Sports and Canterbury were defeated, the former 3-0 at Tunbridge Wells, who scored through Festos Kamara, Billy Lewins and Trevor McCreadie.

Canterbury went down 5-1 at home to Punjab United despite Rob Lawrence’s first-half effort. Lea Dawson (2), Theo McKenzie, Jayden Hussain and Chandler Kasai were on target for the visitors.

Rajan Sahni scored four times for Kennington as they eased to a 5-0 win at home to Sutton Athletic, Elliott Moore completed the tally late on.

Glebe won 2-1 at Holmesdale with Jamie Philpot among the scores while Rusthall’s main marksman, Louie Clarke, claimed a brace as they ran out 5-1 victors at Lordswood. Kweku Ansah scored twice for Welling Town, who won 2-1 at home to Hollands & Blair.

The division’s biggest crowd was at The Belmont where 526 saw the hosts beaten by two late Isaac Thompson goals. James Jeffrey had given Whitstable the lead just before the hour mark and they also missed a late penalty.
