Metropolitan Police v Maidstone United

MAIDSTONE UNITED joint-manager Alan Walker has called on his players to make one final push for the Ryman League Division 1 South title.

The Stones are top of the league with one game in hand over second-placed Hastings United. They travel to play eighth-placed Met Police on Saturday and Walker has targeted three wins to secure the title.

He said: "Everyone understands what their jobs are and I’m confident that this set of players can get three wins out of four to guarantee us the title.

"Three wins does it for us regardless of everyone else but we’ll be looking to win all four."

Ryan Royston is unavailable and will miss the game but he is expected to be replaced in defence by Lee Shearer.
