Stones game falls to the weather

Harlow v Maidstone

Maidstone United's Ryman League Premier Division game against Harlow has been postponed for a second time.

The game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch following a 4pm inspection at the Essex club's Barrow Farm ground, and has been re-arranged for Tuesday March 10.

Local Football League referee Gary Evetts made the decision, with large areas of the pitch flooded, and weather forecasts predicting freezing temperatures.

Skipper Ben Lewis was set to return after serving a one-game ban, but Ian Cox (work commitments)and goalkeeper Andy Walker (shoulder) were unavailable.
