Man charged after Aylesford robberies

A man has been charged after an attempted robbery in Aylesford.

The crimes took place at a shop in High Street in February, when cash was reported to have been stolen, and a store in Premier Parade, on Monday, March 25, where the suspect fled empty-handed.

Yesterday, investigators arrested 19-year-old Ronan Cruise on suspicion of robbery.

Mr Cruise, of no fixed address, was charged with both offences and is remanded to appear by video link before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
