Man and woman in CCTV images no longer suspects in East Malling church purse theft case

A man and a woman have been eliminated from police inquiries after a purse was stolen from a church in East Malling.

CCTV images were released after a woman reported her purse was stolen from Saint James the Great Church in East Malling on Sunday, October 16.

But officers this afternoon revealed the two people have come forward following an appeal and are no longer being connected to the investigation.

The CCTV images were obtained from cameras outside a Tesco store in Larkfield.
