Appeal following attempted robbery in Rochester

Officers are appealing for information following an alleged attempted robbery on a woman in Rochester.

The woman, who is in her 20s, but has not been named, was walking along the High Street, towards Rochester Railway Station, when she was approached by three men.

The alleged incident happened at about 11.30pm on Saturday, October 12.

The woman reported one of the men tried to take items out of the pocket of her work apron that she still had on.

The suspect is a white man, between the ages 23 and 27, of medium build, about 5ft 6in and had gelled shoulder length black hair and unshaven facial hair.

He was thought to be wearing a black hooded jumper with a white T-shirt underneath, dark jeans and a chunky square shaped diamond earring in his left ear.
