Cocaine found hidden in extractor fan alongside 40g stash at home in Montfort Road in Strood

Drugs worth more than £20k have been found hidden in a house, including half a kilogram of cocaine found inside an extractor fan.

The haul was discovered when police searched a house in Montfort Road, in Strood on Saturday, October 28.

During the search a further 40g of cocaine and nearly three ounces of cannabis were also seized along with a can of CS gas.

The total street value of the drugs was estimated to be more than £20,000.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and also unlawful possession of a firearm.

He has since been bailed until January 28 while officers complete further enquiries.
