Traffic was queuing on a main road following a crash near a roundabout.

The A289 Berwick Way was blocked in both directions due to the accident on the A228 Frindsbury Hill, in Wainscott.

It has since reopened, as of 5.30pm, but there is still slow traffic in the area.

The accident is understood to have happened at The Sans Pareil roundabout and was causing lengthy delays.
