Firefighters free cat after getting head stuck in window

By Hayley Robinson

A cat found itself in a tricky situation after getting its head trapped in a window.
Firefighters from Strood were called to an address in Burritt Mews, Princes Street, Rochester, yesterday (Monday) afternoon where the moggy was stuck in a two inch gap under the window.
A metal post was stopping the window opening any further.
Its body was being supported by its owner when crews arrived.
The cat was freed after firefighters managed to gently slide the cat along the opening.
