Lordswood skipper Jeremy Greaves hit a half-century to help his Division 1 table toppers to a two-wicket win at Sandwich.

Darren Scott was the pick of the Lordswood attack as he claimed 3-40 to help restrict them to 197-9.

After slumping to 16-2 in reply, Greaves came to his side’s rescue with 63 from 76 balls before James Iles (24 not out) helped them over the finishing line with three overs to spare.

Rainham kept in touch with the leading pack in Division 4 following their 154-run win over Bromley Town.

Opener Andy Parkinson scored 66 and skipper James Austin hit 62 as Rainham reached 269-7 from their 50 overs. Matt Goodwin (37) and Callum Mitchell (35) also provided good support. Jordan Shersby (2-26) accounted for both openers, Thomas Burns took 2-23 and James Sherhod 4-17 as Bromley were dismissed for just 115 in 27.1 overs.
