Police helicopter called to A229 Blue Bell Hill after concerns for man’s welfare

A police helicopter was called following concerns for a man’s welfare.

The alarm was raised earlier today, and officers enlisted the help of the aircraft to widen the search.

The helicopter was deployed to scour the area near the A229 Blue Bell Hill and Warren Road.

Police have since confirmed the man was found safe.

A spokesman said: “The man was safely located, and the helicopter has now left the scene.”
