Seven suspected illegal immigrants found in Medway are being held at an immigration centre.

The men, all aged between 20 and 40, are thought to be from Iraq and Iran.

A member of the public is said to have alerted officers after the suspects were seen in the car park of the M2 Farthing Corner services, Londonbound.

Police patrols and dog handlers found the seven in nearby woods, and they have all been transferred to the Dover immigration centre.
