Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish is searching for a new netminder after summer signing Mark Hartley announced he would be leaving the club.

Hartley, who joined the Dynamos from Nottingham Panthers in June, cited the length of the commute to Kent as the reason behind the departure.

"Mark has decided he can’t commit to the club for the new season because of travel reasons," Parrish, pictured, said.

"While it’s a shame to lose him, I understand his position.

"I had a long discussion with him recently and we both concluded that his journey each week would more than likely have a negative impact on
both his game and his personal life."

Parrish signed Hartley to replace his first choice last season, Joe White, whose own work commitments restricted his availability for Invicta’s new ENIHL Division 1 South campaign.
