Invicta Dynamos put 14 goals past Peterborough Islanders and are handed the points against Haringey Greyhounds

Invicta Dynamos maintained their supremacy in the ENIHL Division 1 (South) with a 14-0 trouncing of Peterborough Islanders and a walkover victory against Haringey Greyhounds.

The Mos are three points ahead of Chelmsford Chieftains and they had no trouble seeing off the challenge from basement side Peterborough.

Despite missing Anthony Leone, Mark Williams and AJ Smith for the trip to Peterborough, the Mos strolled to victory on Saturday and they were ahead after just six minutes with a goal from Nolan Boike.

Joe Johnston (pictured), who was named man of the match, scored the second and Nicky Lewis made it three. Loyde Fuller scored his first goal since stepping up from the Mustangs and Boike completed the first period scoring.

Lewis and Johnston were on target again in the second to make it 7-0 and Andy Smith was the next man on target. Ryan Giles and Peter Vaisanen added their names to the scoresheet and Smith’s second made it 11.

Three more goals came in the final period with Boike adding two more before Elliot Andrews wrapped up the rout.

Sunday’s trip to face Haringey at Alexandra Palace was called off after their opponents cancelled the game, which entitles the Invicta to a 5-0 win.
