There will be a slide, rope walk, wobble bridge, climbing wall and much more.

Work started today (Monday) and is expected to take three weeks. It is hoped to be open and up and running for the autumn half term, week beginning Monday, October 21.

The playground will be closed while the works are taking place.

Cllr Howard Doe, who is charge of community services, said: “I am delighted we are installing new play equipment at Capstone for children to enjoy.

"The park is one of our seven Green Flag parks in Medway and we hope the new playground will encourage children to become more active.”
