Man charged after heroin and crack cocaine seized in Gillingham

A man is facing drug charges after police seized heroin and crack cocaine in Gillingham .

Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team stopped a vehicle travelling in Pearl Way at around 1pm on Wednesday August 19 and subsequent inquiries led to a quantity of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis being found.

Rilwan Shinaba has since been charged with possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and an additional count of possessing cannabis.

The 25-year-old, of Strickland Road, Belvedere, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday August 21.

At the hearing, he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
