The Dickensian Christmas festival brought about 40,000 people to Medway on Saturday.

People flooded to Rochester for the traditional festival to see Father Christmas, Dickensian characters and the latest addition to the line-up - reindeer Comet and Blitzen.

Hundreds lined Rochester High Street for the grand parade, held at noon on Saturday and featuring a host of characters including Fagin and Bill Sykes.
