Medway police station targeted by 'cat burglar' stalking their McVitie's biscuit selection

A police station has been targeted by a 'cat burglar' who is stalking their Christmas biscuit selection.

The ginger feline is a regular visitor to the force's Medway station in Purser Way, Gillingham, no matter how many times they let him out of the building.

The four-legged friend is seen sitting on a desk on top of files eyeing up a box of McVitie's Family Circle surrounded by coffee cups.

Although the cat is not micro-chipped he is seemingly well cared for, say officers who have subsequently adopted him into the workplace.

The Medway unit on Twitter said: "We appear to have adopted a #Medway Police Station cat. No matter how many times he is escorted out of the building he returns to stalk the Christmas biscuits.

"No chip but clearly well cared for if anyone is missing this little fella?"
