Police deployed a stinger which was used to deflate the tyres.

Unfortunately, the stinger also caught one of the police's own vehicles.

They arrested a 28-year-old man from Gravesend on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop when directed to do so by a police officer, driving whilst unfit through alcohol or drugs and possession of class A drugs.

As of Friday (August 2), the man has been released under investigation.
